The Vice President is responsible for maintaining a framework that supports Bayshore Solutions business development objectives, delivery of value added services, and promotes overall growth of the firm. The Vice President leads the Business Development Process for their delivery team; acts as the subject matter expert for Bayshore Solutions capabilities; executes the process of project strategy, definition, scope, expectations, winning of new business; and implements acquired projects. The Vice President is directly responsible for the delivery of all projects within the portfolio and maintaining a high degree of customer satisfaction. The VP Role works closely with executive staff to ensure the firm has appropriate services, processes, and is sufficiently staffed to deliver solutions to their clients. The Vice Presidents have overall responsibility for their team's Profit and Loss including contributing factors such as sales, utilization, margin, and expenditures. The Vice President is a member of the executive steering committee; he or she is directly involved with developing and executing Bayshore Solutions' strategic mission. The VP reports to the Chief Operating Officer.
: Project Delivery - Facilitates the development of tactical and strategic methodologies, policies, and procedures in order to deliver products that agree with the goals and objectives of the company. Works with the executive management to establish and maintain financial objectives for their team having overall responsibility for the team's Profit and Loss including contributing factors such as sales, utilization, expenditures, and staffing. Identifies best practices and develops new systems/processes/tools for complex integrated client solutions. Builds credibility and trust with the client to ensure that the client's needs are met. Develops and maintains key project deliverables: project plans, scope documents, communication plans, status reports, and risk management plans. Manages overall client relationship and implementation of tactical items related to project delivery on an as needed basis. Manages team members and maintains overall responsibility for all projects within their delivery teams portfolio. Works with other Team Vice Presidents to prioritize enterprise projects and resource requirements.
: Business Development - Represents Bayshore Solutions at various civic /professional events with intent of creating new leads. Responds to company provided leads, assists in gathering requirements and writing functional specifications; identifies appropriate solutions, and closes new business. Analyzes and evaluates the effectiveness of sales methods, costs, and results. Creates new products, service offerings, marketing methods, and proposals to achieving sales quotes. Responsible for growing and maintaining his/her portfolio.
: Customer Service - Contributes ideas, develops solutions, and communicates effectively with internal and external customers; Work in a team environment to ensure that all areas of solution are in sync; Visualize solutions and communicate within delivery team; Identify opportunities to exceed client expectations within applicable project budget. Facilitates understanding of customer issues when escalated and resolves accordingly.
: Leadership, Innovation and Training - Directly manage delivery team and provides guidance to staff; actively monitor, manage, and provide guidance to cross functional team members. Serve as subject matter expert on Bayshore Solutions delivery methodology, products, and Intellectual Property library; Contribute to Bayshore Solutions intellectual property library; Identify, define, and implements new/enhanced firm policies and processes; Actively pursues self-education and research project opportunities. Oversee employee development including performance and salary reviews, motivation, recognition opportunities, and career development.
: Administration - Record project time into project management software on a daily basis; Meet billable time utilization expectations while executively managing team to meet their individual time utilization goals ensuring individual and team profitability goals; Actively recruits, interviews, and hires professional services staff. Performs formal annual and informal performance reviews for direct reports. Consistently adhere to Bayshore Solutions' company policies. Provides for timely collection of receivables by monitoring payment of client invoices. Works with other members of the executive team to define overall strategic direction of the company. Provides input for the creation of budgets and the development of policies and procedures.
Education and/or Experience:
: Demonstrated experience managing the delivery of technology and/or marketing solutions.
: Experience managing a team of technical/creative individuals providing solutions in a professional services or agency environment.
: Expertise leveraging Microsoft Project to create project plans and allocate resources.
: Experience identifying and resolving complex technical and business process issues.
: Demonstrated experience leading the entire business development process including prospecting, opportunity identification, solutions definition, project estimation, and client acceptance.
: History in the execution of core HR management duties including interviewing, new employee orientation, delivery of performance reviews, identifying/ executing on training opportunities
: Knowledge of various Content Management Software (CMS).
: 10+ years of experience in delivering web based solutions.
: 5+ years of experience estimating hours necessary to deliver web based solutions based on functional specifications.
: 5+ years of leading Business Development initiatives with assigned sales targets.
: 5+ Years of experience managing multiple employees delivering solutions in a professional service environment.
: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
