Job Title: Vice President of Global Media

Position Summary:
Manage overall global media strategy for RBC Ministries, including audio, video, radio, TV production. Responsible to see that content quality and delivery goals are achieved and that global regional offices are served in their audio/video efforts.

Essential Functions:

Participate in meetings and activities related to expanding global ministry impact.

Participate in Content Advisory Team meetings and other cross-functional meetings as required.

Maintain expertise in emerging delivery opportunities and provide counsel on global impact opportunities.

Exhibit servant leadership and promote a team-oriented environment that results in synergistic solutions.

Maintain regular communication with global leadership to ensure needs are met.

Provide oversight, guidance, and service for the production and delivery of all media ministries.

Interface with marketing on content and messaging issues related to media delivery.

Oversee all media budgets to ensure compliance and effective stewardship.

Set consistent media production philosophy, based on guiding principles and agreed-to-strategies, to ensure quality of media programs.

Oversee media teams and processes to ensure adherence to annual plan.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

Study or Knowledge and Experience:

Master’s degree or degree or equivalent experience in broadcast media, communications, or related field. Five years experience in Internet delivery of media programming. Strong working knowledge of digital marketing and social networking opportunities.

Internal Work Environment:

Frequent communication with those involved in acquiring, writing, producing and marketing of media programs. Liaison with management team.

External Communication Requirements:

High degree of communication related to a variety of subject matter experts, consultants, and media outlets.

Leadership Responsibility:

Provides guidance, team building, encouragement and accountability to those involved with all aspects of media production and delivery.

Stewardship of Resources:

Oversees programs and activities within established budgets.

Miscellaneous notes for consideration:

Travel, including occasional international travel required.
