Video Development Engineer
BVI Networks, Inc. - San Jose, CA
RetailNext is looking for an experienced C/C++ engineer to join a team that is developing a market-leading video recording platform optimized for retail.

Responsibilities

Contribute to video analytics and video recording development efforts

Work closely with the backend team to seamlessly integrate the analytics and recording functionality with the rest of the application

Collaborate with the user interface team to deliver a smooth streaming video experience for end users

Work closely with our NVR partners to integrate their systems into our solution

Qualifications

BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent

3-5 years of experience writing great C/C++ code

Proven experience delivering reliable, business-critical solutions

Knowledge of video compression and streaming technologies

Experience developing on both Windows and Linux platforms

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Experience with OpenCV is a plus
