As part of the Viverae Creative Development team, the Video Editor will produce highly creative and professional corporate videos for
the Communications Department and other Viverae departments and its executives.
Support the Creative Development team in the Communications Department with video and photo needs for internal, external and client communications.
Interview and meet with subject matter experts to write scripts for corporate, sales or training videos.
Produce corporate style videos and demos using still photos, graphics, b-roll, interviews, screen-recordings, voice over, and audio.
Shoot and edit short videos for daily/weekly CEO video blog.
Set up professional video studio and operate camera, lights, microphone and teleprompter.
Set up studio to take professional photos of Viverae personnel, and photograph events if requested.
Edit, crop, and color correct all photographs.
Use creativity in video editing, graphics and animation.
Act professionally in an office setting, inter-departmental communication and client communication.
Other duties as assigned, special projects or updates to Creative Development team deliverables.
At least 3 years of experience in operating a non-linear edit system in a post-production environment (Adobe Premier
Pro, Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, Camtasia, and Final Cut Pro).
At least 3 years of experience in video production with hands-on studio experience in commercial, news, corporate,
instructional, or broadcast TV.
Specialized knowledge of video production as well as operational knowledge of all types of audio and video equipment, set
design and lighting, camera work, script writing and post production including graphics, audio.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to execute as a one person production unit.
Be able to handle multiple projects, be creative and work under deadline pressure.
Have good interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills, along with a strong sense of responsibility.
Must have an impressive portfolio/demo reel with examples of video, photography and graphic design.
Experience managing vendors, actors, talent, and VO artists is preferred.
Certification or training on graphic software or computer editing software a plus.
Able to lift and carry up to 70 pounds.
Experience developing and managing a Wordpress website is a plus.
Highly skilled in photography and advanced photo editing is preferred.
B.A. or B.S. degree is preferred.
