Acquire, log and edit highlight videos for all sports. Assist Video Coordinator in producing high quality video content for all sports within the athletic department.AcquisitionAcquire footage from no less than ½ off all sports home contests. Responsible for recording all opponent games available on TV/satellite.Responsible for upkeep of cameras and associated peripherals, (batteries, tripods, lenses and media).Supervises student intern†s assisting with acquisition and professional contractors when needed.May travel for post-season contests for filming of games determined by that sport and/or the Video Coordinator.Media ManagementLog and organize footage based on sport and player for recall in editing and future productions or requests.Assist in filling outside requests for footage to national and local broadcast entities as well as internal departmentsAssist Video Coordinator in allocating storage and well as server maintenance.Production ResponsibilitiesCreate, produce and edit final videos for each sports year ending highlight video for use on website, at banquet or in Hall of Champions.Work with outside contractors for post-production graphics and sound effects creation.Adheres to and enforces all policies, rules and regulations of the Athletic Department, University of Oregon, Pacific-10 Conference, NCAA and other authorities that may legitimately influence the intercollegiate athletics programs.Other duties prescribed by Video Coordinator.APPLICATIONPROCEDURE: Submit letter of interest, resume and the names and phone numbers of three references via email to Mark Ruckwardt, at athletichr@uoregon.edu.
