Video Production Intern:

As a video department intern, you will have the chance to do everything involved in video production, such as filming, capturing video off the internet, importing footage, logging, editing, building dvds, uploading videos and adding subtitles to video. You will be working on a wide variety of videos, everything from media highlights, to graffiti jam videos, DIYs, location profiles to brigade process videos.

Nuts and Bolts:

The internship is located at our graffiti-covered global headquarters in Trenton, NJ. Interns will be asked to bring their own laptop computer to the office, but printing facilities and general office supplies will be provided. The preferred duration of the internship is May 2013 to August 2013 with an expected minimum of 20 hours per week. However, each internship can be customized, and the duration can vary on a case to case basis. Though, students seeking college credit must adhere to their educational institution’s internship requirements.

Although the internship if unpaid, we provide a bountiful lunch every day, a well-organized education experience with interdepartmental lectures so that you can learn about all aspects of TerraCycle’s operations and business management in general, regular intern events and company parties. In the previous year, TerraCycle had over 100 interns from top colleges, law schools and business schools. It’s a dynamic and highly charged entrepreneurial environment. TerraCycle will offer college credit and recommendations upon successful completion of the internship. Due to the company’s eco-focus, some schools, including Princeton, provide a stipend for their students to work at TerraCycle, so please check with your school if they can provide support.

Qualifications:

  • Must know how to operate a video camera.
  • Must be familiar with Final Cut pro or Adobe Premier.
  • Strong communication and artistic skills.
  • Must be organized and detail oriented.
  • Must have laptop and Final Cut software or Adobe Premier.
