Social Stratification & Social Problems Specialty:
The Department of Sociology at Rollins College seeks a versatile and energetic visiting assistant professor for a one-year appointment beginning August 15, 2013. Applicants must have teaching and/or research interests in social stratification and social problems.
Gender & Family Specialty:
The Department of Sociology at Rollins College seeks a versatile and energetic visiting assistant professor for a one-year appointment beginning August 15, 2013. Applicants must have teaching and/or research interests in gender and family.
Requirement for both Specialties:
Ph.D. in sociology at the time of appointment is preferred; A.B.D. considered. Successful candidate must provide evidence of excellent teaching ability along with creative scholarly activity and potential, while demonstrating an ability to work collegially in a small department in a liberal arts setting. The department is oriented toward critical and humanistic sociology.
