Visiting Assistant Professor of Computer Science

The Department of Computer Science at the University of North Carolina at Asheville seeks to fill a full-time faculty position as Visiting Assistant Professor beginning with the Fall 2013 term. The initial contract for the position is for one year with the possibility of extension to a second year depending on administrative approval and satisfactory performance.

The ideal candidate will have a Ph.D. in computer science or a related field. Courses taught will include introductory programming, digital media, and additional courses to be arranged as appropriate to meet candidate interests and department staffing needs. Teaching load is 24 contact hours per year.
