The Department of Psychological Science at the University of North Georgia is accepting applications for a 1-year Visiting Lecturer on the Dahlonega campus to begin August, 2013. The area of interest is open, but an individual with a broad background in experimental psychology and an ability to teach upper-level, lab-based courses in Statistics and Research Methodology, Introductory courses, and upper-level specialty courses is preferred. The standard teaching load is 24 credit hours per academic year. Located north of Atlanta, University of North Georgia is a state supported, co-educational, multi-campus institution of approximately 15,000 students known for its academic excellence. The Dahlonega campus is a residential community of approximately 6,000 students nestled in the foothills of the Appalachian mountains.

Education Requirement
A Ph.D. in Psychology or a related field and prior University-level teaching experience is preferred. Candidates with ABD status may be considered.

Experience Requirement
An applicant with experience teaching at the undergraduate level and experience engaging undergraduate students in scholarly activities is preferred.
