St. Mary's College of Maryland is accepting applications for a visiting full-time studio art instructor, one-year (sabbatical replacement) starting Fall 2013, pending budgetary approval. Teaching duties include three classes per semester at the introductory and advanced level in painting and drawing. For candidates with expertise in non-toxic printmaking or book arts, one of the three courses per semester might be taught in these areas of specialty. Successful candidates will be able to participate in senior critiques of student work in diverse media approaches and deliver an artist talk to the college community. M.F.A. required and teaching experience beyond T.A level preferred.
