This position is responsible for creating displays for all types of inline stores, on time and with the correct information and in keeping with our visual standards. Main areas of responsibility are the Blue Ribbon store design; all small and large store designs and all product and marketing tests.
Duties and Responsibilities (*Essential Functions)
1.Assist in the development of all displays for all regular inline and TR1 stores. Displays need to be set according to sales volume / forecast by department and by item and forecasted top 50 items by promotion.
2.Partner with Merchandise department and Merchandise Planning and Allocation department on product assortments and inventory volumes to develop effective and 100% accurate visual displays.
3.Order and/or locate all merchandise, conduct photo shoots, and gather all product information for displays to support the creation and production of the Visual Merchandising Guide (VMG) for all stores. Create a SKU list of every display by due date.
4.Partner with Creative Services to support the creation of in-store signing, ensuring signs needed are the most cost effective and customer friendly and to company signing standards.
5.Large and small stores: Create separate example schematics for larger than average and smaller than average inline stores. Create at least two example displays for larger than average stores to follow and at least 5 example displays for smaller than average stores for condense displays. Work with communication team to ensure an accurate VMG for small and large stores is created. Develop any extra direction or extra photos for larger than average stores and smaller than average stores as needed.
6.Lead all aspects of the Blue Ribbon stores including prepping for the sets, creating schematics, leading the sets, work with DM or stores on the store layouts and any visual questions on Blue Ribbon stores, the photo shoot and photo shop work. Coordinate collecting SKUs of every floor fixture and every bay and creating a SKU spreadsheet. Work hand in hand with the Communication Specialist to produce an accurate VMG.
7.Lead all aspects of visuals with all product/Marketing tests. This includes setting the product in all appropriate stores, in all appropriate displays.Work with merchants and MP&A with any visual questions, conducting the photo shoot and all photo shop work. Work hand in hand with the communication specialist to produce an accurate VMG.
8.Organize and cleanliness of the inline room, in front of the inline room and in all cabinets, drawers and all boxes in and in front of the inline room. Must be maintained on a weekly basis.
9.Assist in updating the inline store schematic database.
10.Manage customer service calls from field employees pertaining to setting displays, props or any marketing questions.
11.Allocate merchandise from the Distribution Center to the Marketing Department when needed.
12.Allocate props to stores as needed.

Education and Experience
1.At least two years experience in Visual Merchandising
2.One - two years Retail Manager or Assistant Manager experience
3.Macintosh experience in InDesign, Photoshop, Excel and Word a plus
