Vocational Teacher for Recreational and Mobile Equipment Program

Carroll Junior Senior High School is adding a new vocational program called Recreational and Mobile Equipment. CJSHS will need to hire a teacher to lead this new and exciting vocational program.
The courses taught will introduces students to the fundamental concepts, workings and operations of engines. The ideal candidate would have advanced knowledge of hydraulics, cooling and electrical systems. The teacher would be comfortable instructing students on all aspects of engine components in ATVs, Motorcycles, Outboard Motors, and other Mobile Equipment.
The position would require any one of the following licenses: Standard Trade and Industrial Small Engine Repair License K-12; Occupational Specialists I, II, or III Small Engines; CTE: Trade & Industrial Recreational & Portable Power Equipment; Workplace Specialist: Recreational & Portable Power Equipment; CTE Trade & Industrial Recreational & Portable Equipment 5-12; Workplace Specialist: Recreational & Portable Power Equipment 9-­-12. Other licenses would be examined.
Workplace Specialists would be supported in their license application process.

This position would be based on student enrollment. It would start out as a part-time position, but could grow to full-time with growth in enrollment. Pay and benefits would be aligned with the CCSC and CEA master contract.
