Volunteer Service Specialist jobs
The Volunteer Services Specialist develops and coordinates the management of a comprehensive volunteer services program to serve the needs of the organization. Coordinates the daily operations of the Volunteer Services Department, including volunteer scheduling and tracking of hours, recruitment and training of new volunteers and coordination of the annual volunteer recognition event.
Other duties include: adminster the volunteer calendar for both Community Donor Centers and Mobile operations; assist with volunteer recruitment and materials; assist with project management; assist with department administrations.
Requirements: -High School diploma or equivalent is required. -Bachelor’s degree in management or social science discipline is preferred.
Skills: -1 - 3 years of administrative experience, preferably in a volunteer management area. -Demonstrated ability to use Microsoft Word and Excel; ability to use Access, PowerPoint and Publisher are desirable.
