Description/Job Summary The job of warehouse manager is to manage the tactical purchase, receipt and shipment of direct and indirect materials; maintaining required inventory levels, ensuring specifications, quantity and quality of orders are correct, verifying stock and identifying losses and maintaining an organized warehouse layout.

Responsibilities/Duties
  • Manages, oversees and participates in the shipping, receiving, organizing, storing and issuing of direct and indirect materials, for multiple warehouse operations.
  • Processes a variety of reports in written and electronic form (e.g. requisitions, paperwork, reports, etc.) for the purpose of disseminating information and/or materials to appropriate parties. Also maintains documents, files and records for the purpose of documenting activities, and providing materials and reliable resource information
  • Analyzes a variety of reports in written and electronic form for the purpose of maintaining cost effective inventory levels and providing adequate service levels to both internal and external customers.
  • Requisitions / Receives a variety of items (e.g. boxes, packages, cargo, office supplies, furniture, equipment, etc.) for the purpose of distributing items to assigned locations and/or individuals
  • Prepares orders by either pulling from stock or securing test boxes for the purpose of meeting delivery requirements. Loads and unloads delivery trucks for the purpose of receiving stock and/or filling orders for transport
  • Conducts physical inventories for the purpose of verifying stock and identifying losses.
  • Supervises daily activities of other associates including, but not limited to, WH and purchasing coordinator.
  • Performs other related duties, as assigned, for the purpose of ensuring an efficient and effective work environment

  • Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience, knowledge of typical office applications such as MS Excel, experience in manufacturing environment utilizing SAP, Macola, or similar ERP system.

    Preferred Qualifications CPIM Certified
