The incumbent will perform general warehousing duties, including but not limited to: selecting liquor orders using a mechanized double pallet jack machine or other mechanized or manual piece of equipment and a wrist-worn, mini-computer and finger ring scanner, unloading inbound liquor trucks using mechanized equipment and possibly manual unloading, restocking warehouse stock pulling locations by use of mechanized equipment or by hand-loading, loading completed customer liquor orders onto delivery trucks, assisting in the physical count of liquor inventory, assist in making defective merchandise salable by applying bottle deposit stickers, product identification labels, cleaning bottles and co-packaging liquor bottles with other products. The incumbent will perform general warehouse cleaning and operations duties including, but not limited to: sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning breakroom areas, picking up warehouse trash and cardboard, operating a cardboard recycling compactor, erecting and dismantling warehouse rack, shovelling snow from drives and walkways, retrieving and storing office files, changing lightbulbs and other light warehouse maintenance functions. Qualified candidates must be at least 21 years of age with no criminal record. Generally, four 10-hour shifts or five 8-hour shifts are assigned between the hours of 8:00 a.m. – 2:00 a.m. during the Monday – Friday work week. Shifts may involve overtime. Ocassional weekend hours are required.
