s a member of this team, the successful candidate will perform a variety of Civil and Water Resource planning and design for water supply, hydrologic and hydraulic modeling; floodplains; detention facilities; roadway drainage design; and integrated water resource planning. Additional responsibilities may include field data collection or field inspection including aquifer testing and sampling, borehole geophysical logging quality control, lithologic sample description, and monitoring the construction progress of water resource related facilities; the development of stormwater management plans; and water well and water quality BMP design. Candidate should work well in a team setting and be able to provide support to the team in the areas of research, data input and analysis, model development, and report writing.
Master’s Degree in Water Resources, Environmental, or Civil Engineering is required. Registration as an Engineer-in-Training, or ability to obtain an EIT within 18 months of hire required. GIS/database experience is beneficial. Knowledge of commonly used computer software (Word, Excel, Microstation, AutoCAD) is expected. Candidate must have excellent writing and communication skills. Valid Drivers License.
