Support and develop web projects that effectively communicate the ideas being promoted by organization. Requirements include excellent organizational, time management, communication and project management skills. A hands-on leader driving new site design and development enhancements and integration of growing content from the marketing team. Responsible for developing the “character” for all aspects of the organization’s online presence. Work closely with the Information Systems department and SAP data teams to maintain site standards with regard to new development. Responsible for helping to craft site promotions, email newsletters, social media and online outreach campaigns.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned as needed.
Creating or editing images, graphics and other layout materials for website design.
Coding the website using HTML, or GUI design software.
Working hands on with our internal IS department to develop web applications using
such tools as; Flash / XML / CSS / JAVA / XHTML.
Creating, developing and managing content for Haas Automation’s online web presence strategies including, but not limited to communications through a corporate blog, an active social media program and an email newsletter program.
Making changes to the site directed by marketing management.
Exceptional communication, organizational and project management skills
Possess expertise in design for the web and website production work-flow skills
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver as well as Flash skills
Experience with SEM (Search Engine Marketing) specifically with search engine optimization strategies
Proven ability to build consensus and work effectively within a cross-departmental team. This will require a close working relationship with the SAP data team, Sales, Engineering and Information Systems departments.
Advanced knowledge of HTML, and of digital imaging and illustration with Adobe
Photoshop CS4, Illustrator CS4
Advanced knowledge of current web-design trends and techniques.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design or Web Design, 3+ years designing/developing great looking and useable web applications; as well as a solid understanding of graphics design aesthetics, with an emphasis on site navigation and graphical user interfaces.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations in English. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
