The WWMS Systems and Solutions Manager's role is to work with users, managers and executives in the sales and marketing organization to identify the best business processes and implement them in the Force.com platform. The focus of this role will be to set the direct and roadmap for the customer portal, provide support to both local users and customers. The individual must be able to work closely with internal users, customers, and third party vendors. The primary focus will be sales and marketing automation as well as the customer facing applications that are used in the customer portal.


The individual needs to be fluent in semiconductor design and application development. Strong written and presentation communications skills and customer relationship management is required. A BA or BS is prerequisite.

The individual must have in depth knowledge of semiconductor development and design. Prior experience in implementation software development or business process analysis is also a must have. GLOBALFOUNDRIES is working on the salesforce.com platform for much of the development implementation in sales and marketing automation, so strong familiarity and admin certification is a plus. The individual will work primarily in Milpitas, CA, but will interact with colleagues around the world including Germany, Singapore, Japan, China, and New York. The current role is that of an individual contributor, but there is potential that the individual can pick up a supervisory function in the future.

The individual must be self-motivated and have the ability to lead projects that include support teams from around the world. There will be occasional overseas travel depending on business conditions and needs of a project. Excellent organizational skills and ability to document clearly and precisely is important. Since this is a development and support role, the individual needs to be able to conduct himself/herself in a manner that is supportive and service oriented. The individual must be able to work easily with others, willing to learn and teach others, and be a great team player.
