The primary purpose of your job position is to assist the Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse in their day to day recording and charting of medical or administrative information in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern medical records, and as may be required by the Medical Records Supervisor, to ensure our medical records are maintained in an informative and descriptive manner.
- High school education or its equivalent.
- Working knowledge of medical terminology required.
- General knowledge of long term care regulations as they pertain to monthly physician order sheets and medication administration records.
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to maintain composure on phone when handling customer calls.
- Computer skills.
