Schedules Residents’ appointments - this includes new, or 30, 60, 90 day appointments. Communicates effectively to all Case Managers, Charge Nurses, families and residents when appointments are scheduled. Coordinates, as needed, the scheduling of buses and drivers effectively and may drive as necessary. Report to maintenance any vehicle/bus concerns. Represents facility on phone calls and when conducting transportation to residents. Portrays positive image both in interactions and demeanor. Completes special projects as assigned.
Orders supplies and stocks supplies - this includes oxygen, PT/OT needs and equipment. Stocks supplies weekly in the resident’s rooms. Orders durable medical equipment as directed by Case Managers.
C. Back Up to Health Information Management:
Prepares charts prior to admissions. Inserts reports, orders, consultation reports, any outside communication regarding resident in chart in a timely fashion. Thins charts on a monthly basis. Backs up the H.I.M. Director in his/her absence including processing admissions.
D. Nursing Services:
Tracks and reports attendance issues daily by email to the Case Managers, Human Resources Manager,
Director of Nursing. Completes Quality Improvement reports. Assists with the State Survey documentation. Completes other duties as assigned.
