DIRECTV is currently seeking a Warehouse Assistant to join its Lynnwood, WA team.
The Warehouse Assistant receives, stocks, pulls, distributes, ships and tracks materials, tools, and equipment for a single site location.
Receives and verifies accuracy of incoming shipments.
Sorts and places materials on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code. Marks materials with identifying information.
Pulls and distributes materials, tools, or other stock items in order to fill technician requests.
Prepares merchandise for shipment, as required.
Maintains accurate inventory records through the use of a computerized inventory system.
Completes requisition forms to order additional equipment and supplies.
Utilizes material handling equipment such as forklifts, etc.
Other duties and projects as assigned.
High School diploma or GED required.
Previous warehouse experience preferred.
Previous experience with a computer inventory system preferred.Effective interpersonal communication skills required.
Must meet company hiring criteria for pre-employment screening to include drug test and criminal background.
Ability to work full time, up to and including 6 days a week, weekends and holidays as needed, is required.
Must be able to lift, carry and handle materials that weigh up to 75 lbs.
Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
