The Warehouse Associate handles the end processing of customer orders by shipping orders and receiving customer returns.
Material handling (including, but not limited to: receiving, unloading, picking, checking and packing orders & counting and warehousing inventory).
Observe the established rules or policies; operate in compliance with safety regulations.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure quality of work through adherence to Standard Operating Procedures.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
The company utilizes a deliberate and systematic approach to distribution processes that emphasizes quality and safety over speed.
Working at consistent work pace for long periods of time handling repetitive work.
Some climbing on ladders may be required to organize or pick inventory.
Some use of computers and warehouse machinery.
Significant walking through warehouse and some heavy lifting (up to 50 Lbs.) required.
Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and six to twelve months direct warehouse experience in a fast-paced manufacturing or internet retail environment (small parcel, single-line orders, 1,000+ per day); or equivalent combination of education and experience.
