Job Description: We are looking for a warehouse associate responsible for the overall coordination of packaging and shipping of aircraft parts and other company materials, following a quality control process. Duties: * Inspecting, receiving and shipping of aircraft parts Unload boxes from trucks as necessary. Inspection of boxes and containers for damages. Inspection of items, including physical inspection and paperwork.
Entry data into our software, including shipment information, item information, taking pictures and scanning documentation. Maintain receiving items in proper warehouse location. Prepare shipments, including individual boxes and pallets. It requires the use of warehouse tools and equipment and computer software.
Schedule pickups and deliveries for shipments. Prepare hazmat documentation and airway bills for national and international shipments. Process and deliver documentation to airlines and US Customs as required. You must be reliable, hardworking and conscientious about the quality of your work.
Flexible and open to change if processes change. Cooperate with others to comply with customers requirements and driven to be the best to reach our goals and benchmarks. * Follow the process and procedures of our quality control We comply with the quality control ASA-100 for aviation. You must follow the processes and procedures regulated by the quality control.
In collaboration with our operations department you must perform internal audits every 2 weeks to comply with our quality control. Review of all warehouse tools and equipment to keep them in the best conditions We will provide training and you must have the ability to learn quickly. * Collaborate with operations consolidating shipments. Keep track of inbound and outbound shipments for consolidation.
Shipments can be national or international. You must able to talk to shipping carriers by phone and email to keep track of shipments. Maintain a plan of shipping carriers to improve our shipping performance and reduce costs. * Resolve discrepancies with inbound and outbound shipments Report shipping discrepancies and correct them within a specified time.
Discrepancies might be item received doesn°t match order, condition or quantity don°t match, shipment damages, paperwork is incorrect or has missing information and other discrepancies. You must resolve discrepancies in collaboration with our operations department and it requires you to speak directly to suppliers by phone and email to make the corrections. * Maintain updated information of inventory items In collaboration with sales department you must maintain up to date information on all inventory items and assist in the promotion of these items through specified online and offline channels. Qualifications: * Must be 21 years of age or older.
