Performs receiving functions, equipment maintenance and keeping warehouse organized and neat. Stages jobs and manages flow of materials distributed to the production floor. Responsible for unused materials returned from production. Maintains accurate daily and month-end records. Creates special reports as needed, audits inventory and trouble shoots inventory discrepancies. Processes materials tagged for destruction. May place jobs on hold when supply of materials are insufficient.
High School Diploma or Equiv required. Ideal skills include: Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations. Good oral and written communication skills. Good organizational skills. Ability to work overtime as needed. Ability to folloand implement saftey guidelines and procedures. Ability to occassionally reach, lift, and carry boxed materials and paper webs weighing between 25 to 45 lbs over an approximate range of ankle to shoulder high. Occasional push and pull with forces upwards of 57lbs necessary to maneuver loaded carts and pallet jacks. Frequent use of both hands tograsp boxes and webs, open boxes, grasp inserts and envelopes, and complete paperwork. Ability to stand/walk for 95% ofshift.
