Job Summary:The Warehouse Manager has overall responsibility for the safe and efficient daily operations of the warehouse. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: People Management: Responsible for the direct management of one Warehouse Supervisor. Acts as liaison between warehouse, delivery and sales teams.Ensure open lines of communication between warehouse personnel and Operations Director. Manage staffing within the guidelines established, including overtime and temporary employees.Ensure all employees on team have the appropriate training and tools to do their jobs in the proper manner.Warehouse Strategy:Partner with other Warehouse Managers, Dispatcher, Sales Management, Inventory and Accounting to ensure the most efficient warehousing, loading and routing for the delivery of product.Nights and Swings managers-Ensure Vertique system is running at or near 4,000cases/hr and all components and surrounding areas are cleaned and maintained daily.

Send daily status report of system performance and maintenance needs to Ops and facility mgmt.Responsible for managing the assigned budgetary line items of a $6M budget, which is shared with three warehouse shifts, logistics and inventory. Develop and implement process changes to improve the overall safety and efficiency of the warehouse.Ensure proper FIFO warehouse process for consistent quality of product in market. Compliance / Safety:Responsible for ensuring all employees receive the proper training on all related policies and procedures.Overall responsibility for the safety and well being of all employees on team as well as the safekeeping of all assets within area of responsibility.Ensure all CDC workplace rules and standards are followed.Assist with the completion of Incident Reports and ensure thorough, unbiased investigations are completed in a timely fashion.Other duties as assigned.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:Direct management of one Warehouse Supervisor and the indirect management of up to 25 full time and temporary warehouse employees. · Position requires a high school diploma or GED· Minimum of three years of warehouse experience with at least one year of management experience.

· Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.· Must possess the ability to solve problems without guidance, in a fast-paced environment. · Must be proficient in basic computer skills (Windows office); previous experience with VIP preferred. .Physical Demands/Working Conditions: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand and/or walk in a warehouse environment, which includes refrigerated space. The employee must be able to repeatedly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally handle kegs weighing up to 165 pounds.
