Summary: Promotes, sells, and maintains sales, inventory, and maintenance records of corporate products and services to member dealers or business establishments for an assigned warehouse and territory. Creates rapport with member dealers in the areas of sales, service, and ordering.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
• Main contact person to represent United Suppliers in a courteous and professional manner to build and maintain positive relationships with customers, vendors, coworkers, and the public.
• Determines date of delivery to customer, based on knowledge of own firm's production and delivery schedules and monitors shipments of product in accordance with U.S. and manufacturers' programs. Investigates and resolves customer issues with deliveries, pricing, or other areas.
• Confers with Division Management and operational staff to coordinate warehouse activities.
• Works with Sales Representatives to keep account activities and product information coordinated, as well as identify potential opportunities that may affect divisional and corporate growth and profitability and keeps all contact information up to date through our CRMS system.
• Maintains optimum inventory records on daily basis, reports damaged product to corporate office, and responsible for taking physical inventory of product as directed by division management.
• Works to establish a sales and procurement forecast on largest moving products and communicates same with operations group.
• Responsible for hiring and training of all full time and seasonal employees and monitors compliance information for safety programs regarding DOT, EPA, and "Right-To-Know".
• Responsible for orderly appearance of warehouse and report necessary maintenance on structure, in building, on equipment or trucks, etc. and coordinate repairs as directed.

Supervisory Responsibilities: Directly or indirectly supervises all employees in the warehouse site. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities may include interviewing applicants, hiring, and training employees, including having required pre-employment and post-employment paperwork completed; planning, assigning, and directing work and product delivery; conducting performance appraisals; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Education and/or Experience - Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills - Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Mathematical Skills - Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability - Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills - To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Internet software; Inventory software, Order processing systems.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Current Driver's License; Class B CDL with airbrakes and HAZMAT endorsements recommended.
Training Requirements - Receive required training for programs such as hazardous materials, first aid awareness, forklift/loader, etc. (See Company Guideline Requirements).
