This is a FULL TIME position with benefits.
Manages day-to-day operation of warehouse including receiving, storage, and distribution of supplies and goods throughout the Zoo.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage operation of warehouse including staffing, receiving, storage and distribution of goods.
Responsible for daily management of warehouse staff. This includes hiring, training, scheduling, and supervising staff.
Develop policies and procedures for proper handling/storage of food, ordering/shipping/receiving, and inventory control.
Ensure safe operation of delivery vehicles on grounds.
Utilize storeroom software system to maintain accurate inventory records.
Oversee and insure employee compliance in required health, sanitation, and safety procedures in all areas.
Maintain superior customer service at all times.
Working cooperatively with other Guest Services Managers to provide consistency in operations.
Abide by all FOTZ policies, procedures and operational directives.
Other duties as assigned by Food & Beverage Manager.
Active. Heavy lifting required – lifts and carries materials weighing 50-75 lbs. Sufficient mobility, vision, and hearing needed to ensure a safe work environment. Must be able to stand for four hours at a time.
Varies. Must deal with outdoor environment and extreme temperatures.
Internal: Daily with employees of all levels.
External: Daily with guests, vendors and volunteers.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High school Diploma or General Educational Development (GED) Certificate required. College Degree is preferred.
