Reviewing pick labels and evaluating how to build pallets in the best possible way to ensure product integrity and stop order for customer delivery.
Constantly walking, bending, and lifting 10 to 50 lbs, occasionally up to 75 to 100 lbs.
Average shift consists of lifting 1400 to 1500 cases which equates to 40K lbs average.
Labeling each case that is selected. Review order for completion.
Making sure that all repack and split items are put into a box and labeled properly for each customer.
Writing catch weights on CW labels legibly for billing.
Outing products that cannot be located.
Constantly monitoring product quality and rotation dates.
Making substitutions on items that are commonly out.
Labeling completed pallets and staging them in the proper designated areas.
Maintaining production and accuracy standards.
Completion of all other duties assigned.
Forklift certification preferred
Qualifications
High School diploma or GED
Six months of on the job warehouse product selection experience preferred
Ability to maneuver a Forklift/Pallet jack through all areas of warehouse to collect product from shelves and other storage areas.
Wear steel toed boots during shift
Ability to perform basic math calculations, reading and legible writing skills
Ability to build stable and secure pallets comprised of a variety of shapes and sizes.
Pass all pre-employment screenings to include drug test and criminal background investigation.
Ability to work independently in a fast pace environment.
