ASRC Primus, a Subsidiary of ASRC Federal Holding Company, is currently seeking a Warehouse Specialist in the Material Storage Branch at Fort Sill, OK.
Unloads conveyances, moves supplies by handcart or other mechanized conveyances. Packs, unpacks, sorts, stacks, warehouses and relocates items as required. Places stock in appropriate temporary or permanent storage locations according to specific oral or written work instructions. Makes in-storage checks for obvious needs for maintenance, vermin control, damage, shelf life or deterioration. Locates items manually or by referring to location placards or bin labels; compares identifying information on documents with bin labels; compares identifying information on documents with bin labels, bin markings, and container markings. Selects stock in quantities indicated by the release document, assembles picked items and moves stock to locations within a well prescribed overall storage plan. Performs other duties as assigned.
High School graduate or equivalent.
Training in supply/storage operations is desirable.
One year experience as a warehouse specialist at the DS/GS installation or depot level of supply and experience with government computer system is desirable.
Licensing to operate forklifts in performing warehousing duties desirable.
Special Conditions, Skills and Abilities
Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance.
Must possess and continuously maintain a current driver’s license.
Work may require extended standing, bending, stooping, lifting and carrying up to 100 pounds.
Works in a drafty, dusty building that has concrete floors.
May be required to work an uncommon tour of duty including nights, week-ends and holidays.
Must be willing to work overtime as required and willing to cross-train as deemed necessary.
May be exposure to chemicals that burn and irritate the skin.
Must be able to pass a Pre-employment drug test and a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) for computer access.
