Supervises and oversees the day-to-day activities of the warehouse facility. Coordinates activities of workers concerned with ordering, receiving, storing, inventorying, issuing, and shipping materials, supplies, tools, equipment, in the warehouse, dock or yard by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Communicates and confers in a timely manner with Facility Manager and other appropriate personnel pertinent issues, including but not limited to: safety concerns, regulatory visits, audits, training needs, general concerns, damaged equipment, customer service issues, damages materials, accidents, personnel issues or complaints, etc. Works to resolve issues.

Maintains harmony among workers and resolves day-to-day complaints; escalates accordingly.

Prepares composite reports from individual reports of subordinates.

Read and analyze schedules and other records to estimate and determine customer required production needs. Plan and establish work schedules, assignments, duties and sequences to meet requirements and expedite workflow.

Direct, coordinate and assign duties and activities of employees by issuing written and oral instructions. Advise employees on care and preservation of items received, stored, and shipped; methods and use of equipment in handling, storing, maintaining, and shipping; and related problems.

Assess and examines work for exactness, neatness and conformance to policy, procedure and regulation. Enforce safety, environmental and regulatory requirements.

Assists and works in conjunction with CSR, Facility Manager and other appropriate personnel in handling customer service issues and all pertinent communications with customers through completion; including following up to assure appropriate action was taken and future planning.

Assist in and backs up the daily operation of warehouse personnel, as needed.

Participates in hiring, separations of employment, performance evaluations and coaching sessions.

Oversees and coordinates warehouse facility functions, including but not limited to tracking and documenting equipment preventative maintenance, ensuring proper storage of material, participating in cycle counts, completing monthly KPM’s, etc.

Oversees progress of Showcase Standards and schedules assignments, as appropriate.

Plans layout of warehouse, and other storage areas, considering space, turnover, temperature, size, weight, and related factors of items stored.

Performs and/or coordinates/schedules physical counts/inventory.

Evaluates the facility and equipment for and participates in ongoing repair, adjustment and improvement, including but not limited to preventative maintenance.

Observe, monitor and inspect materials, gauges, dials, indicators products, shipments, equipment to establish standards and detect defects, malfunctions, procedural issues or other non-conformance.

Coordinates and purchases supplies and services in conjunction with the facility, material handling along with deliver requirements. Reviews and authorizes payment for associated invoices.

Compile, review and analyze data and prepare reports. Review records for accuracy of information and compliance with established procedures, and to determine adequacy of stock levels. Communicates needs and makes recommendations as necessary.

Initiates and/or investigates NCR/CAP and oversees/initiates applicable corrective action. Adjusts errors and complaints.

Traces history of items to determine reasons for discrepancies between inventory and stock control records and recommends remedial actions to resolve discrepancies.

Tracks damaged, defective and/or expired product and works toward obtaining dispositions and actions on such products.

Manages security accesses and systems to ensure securement of the facility and employees.

Maintains ISO 9001 requirements.

Oversees and coordinates emergency situations including but not limited to spill clean-up. ,

Observes, inquires, studies, evaluates and makes suggestions for standardized procedures and work instructions to improve efficiency of subordinates.

Observes, inquires and instructs assuring appropriate work procedures are followed utilization of JBD’s. SOP’s and site specific work instructions.

Leads and or participates in presentations and meetings.

Coordinates and schedules Regulatory, Developmental and Rinchem Talent Training. Maintains materials for training purposes.

Confers with other supervisors and appropriate service center personnel to coordinate operations and activities between service centers and ascertain best practices.

Assists subordinates through instruction, interpretation, demonstration, providing training or other resources regarding specifications, equipment operations, safety procedures, job orders, company policies and procedures, work instructions, etc.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
Directly supervises 0-30 employees in the Warehouse Tech, Clean Room Tech, Driver, CSR. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Education and/or Experience:
Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

Mathematical Skills:
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Outlook Contact Management systems; Microsoft Access Database software; Internet software; Inventory software; Order processing systems; Microsoft Excel Spreadsheet software and Microsoft Word Word Processing software.

Other Qualifications:
Ability to travel up to 25% of the time for extended periods, and upon short notice
