Ships, receives, stores, and distributes material, tools, equipment, and products within establishment by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Reads pick lists/export only to determine items to be moved, gathered or distributed.
Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand and by forktruck.
Loads materials into vehicles and installs strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit.
Moves materials and items from receiving storage or work sites to designated areas.
Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
Fills requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and places orders on pallets or shelves, or conveys orders to packing station or shipping department.
Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information on cases, bales, or other containers.
Opens bales, crates, and other containers. Uses computer to enter records.
Operates industrial truck to assist in loading or moving materials and products.
Maintains inventory records.
Verifies packing list.
Uses scanners for inventory control.
Must be verified on all applicable ISO documents.
Keeps warehouse swept and other housekeeping duties as needed.
