Allied Eagle Supply is seeking a Warehouse Technician to work in our Warehouse at our main location in Detroit. This is a full time position for people seeking employment with a growing Janitorial Supply Company.

Responsibilities:
Pull and load items correctly for deliveries and /or will calls.
Cycle count inventory daily.
Complete a safety inspection check and complete a safety report on every Hilo and order picker once daily.
Unload incoming trucks, complete the proper paperwork and receive the freight.
Notify Warehouse Manager if incoming freight is damaged or the count is incorrect.
Fill out any necessary stickers for special order items and any deliver tickets that may be needed.
On a daily basis, file any and all paperwork completed that day.
Prepare UPS shipments for same-day pick up.
Notify customer service if there is an issue with an item or the count of an item needs to be adjusted.
Keep the warehouse clean and free from safety hazards.
Be polite and courteous to customers and all other co-workers.
Other duties assigned as necessary.

Requirements:
Must have a valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.
Must have an acceptable criminal history.
Must be able to read and write to complete any necessary paperwork.
High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
Must be able to pass a drug screen.
Have experience operating a Hilo and or an order picker.

Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift items repetitively that may weigh up to 160 lbs.
Must be able to move any items that may weigh more than 160 lbs. up to 5000 lbs. using a hand cart, pallet jack or Hilo.
Must be able to handle working in cold (0 F) to hot (95 F) temperatures in the warehouse area.
