For more information on the company, please visit our Web Site at www.argusx.com.POSITION SUMMARY: We have an opening for a Warehouse Technician to provide assistance in the Technology Center performing inventory of computers and peripherals in a warehouse environment and assisting other warehouse personnel. This job includes loading and unloading trucks, moving computer equipment, operating inventory software, scanning serial numbers, and de-manufacturing computers into component parts. Additionally, the candidate will do field work based on projects for our clients. Additional duties may be assigned and flexibility is a key attribute for success at Argus.You will work for the Operations Manager and be a key part of the team growing the company.The job may involve travel in the DFW area and heavy customer interaction. Strong customer skills are critical. Basic knowledge of computers is desirable as you may be de-manufacturing systems. The job requires attention to detail and precision in following standard procedures. Flexibility and the desire to learn are equally important. Various other job duties may be assigned as required to complete the Argus mission.RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist in customer pickups following customer required protocols Process incoming equipment following Argus Procedures and customer required protocols Enter data accurately and completely into inventory system Sort and demanufacture items into component parts Maintain clean, safe work environment Assist in field work at client sites as needed: deinstalling, installing, and moving computer systems
Warehouse TechnicianDESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: The ideal candidate will have: Two or more years in similar role Ability to lift and carry technology assets, pack and prepare technology assets, load and unload a truck, and walk and stand for prolonged times Ability to drive and operate a Forklift Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening, driving, and background checks Ability to obtain badge certifications for Hospital Clients by successfully completing the Clients badging process Familiarity with computers, particularly the handling and processing of them for inspection, testing, and data entry of descriptive aspects of the computer Strong detail orientation to properly follow procedures and accurately enter data Strong customer skills with an ability to work in the field when necessary Flexibility and a whatever it takes' attitude.
