Job Summary:
- Responsible for timely and accurate recording of transactions that impact shipping, receiving and inventory processes or records.
- Prepare inbound/outbound loads of finished goods for delivery to customers and/or inter-company transfers.
- Prepare shipping and receiving documentation and performs additional miscellaneous clerical/administrative duties to ensure efficient warehouse operations and timely, quality driven, delivery of product to customers.
- Familiarity with chemical plants and processes needed.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Safety - Personally contribute to a safe work environment.
- Process all transactions for incoming, outgoing and transferred materials/products.
- Load all outbound and unload all inbound products.
- Must be capable of driving, safely operating and be certified to drive a forklift.
- Prepare materials with proper packaging, labeling, MSDS, marks, etc. for all outgoing products. Must have a valid drivers licenses.
- Maintain receiving records to account for all received goods and materials.
- Responsible for preparing customer sales orders for shipping per company policy.
- Responsible for preparing and processing accurate shipping documentation on a timely basis.
- Responsible for reviewing and preparing documents as they relate to maintaining inventory.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Follow all appropriate Environmental Protection, Safety, Health and Quality (ESHQ) policies.
- Wear prescribed Personal Protective equipment and ensures that prescribed safeguards are properly used.
- Notify his/her supervisor before undertaking a work activity in which he/she is not adequately trained.
- Immediately reports unsafe acts or conditions to his/her supervisor and takes immediate interim steps to protect him/her and others from serious risk.
- Understands that Safety and Environmental responsibility is a major part of this companys Vision and Guiding Principles.
- Must report all unsafe conditions and accidents immediately to appropriate managers or directors.
- Responsible for the safety of themselves and others.
- Must understand and follow all quality initiatives and processes.

Required Qualifications
- One (1) year shipping and/or warehousing experience with inventory control is a required.
- Familiarity with SAP is strongly preferred.
- Process Technology degree preferred.
- Education: Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, strong typing and math skills, strong customer service skills and the ability to operate a forklift.
- Familiarity with SAP is strongly preferred.
