Immedia is growing! We are looking for a Warehouse Technician who will be responsible for material handling activities including inbound, outbound and to internal production areas. This associate will also be responsible for inventory accuracy and material preservation.

This is a 2nd shift position at our headquarters in Minneapolis working Monday - Thursday, 1:30 p.m. - 12:00 a.m.

Duties:
Maintain a safe and clean work environment at all times

Responsible for handling inbound deliveries; including unloading, verifying to print, inspecting, counting, receiving and warehousing all materials.

Handle internal material activities in a Lean Manufacturing setting.

Set up and monitor all aspects of shipping displays and graphics, working closely with internal sales staff and trucking companies.

Maintain inventory accuracy of 99% or better.

Follow proper handling and storage procedures to preserve the quality of all materials in the warehouse.

Perform small packaging jobs and process cross-dock shipments in an efficient manner.

Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent required, prefer 2 year degree in related field

Four or more years of shipping and receiving in a Lean manufacturing setting preferably from a printing company.

Good problem solving and communication skills

Ability to read and interpret procedure sheets, blue prints and perform material inspections.

Must be detailed oriented and possess good intermediate math skills, such as adding, subtracting, counting, interpret decimals and fractions.

Frequent lifting required. May exceed 50 lbs. occasionally.

Experience operating a forklift and conducting preventive maintenance.

Basic understanding of Lean manufacturing concepts

Proficient PC skills in Word, Excel and Outlook.
