GILLETTE WAREHOUSE TECHNICIAN
Fill and process parts orders. Fill backorders. Put stock orders in bins. Do inventory counts. Assemble XT3 - XT5 and low-pressure hose assemblies. Fill batteries with electrolyte and charge. Clean warehouse. Help with yard work. Must be able to work rotating shifts. Adhere to all of Wyoming Machinery Company Policies for conduct and appearance.
Sweep warehouse floor daily, docks are cleaned. Shipping and storage pad are cleaned as needed. For the purpose of inventory stocking part numbers and quantities are checked off a packing list. Part numbers and locations are verified off the Caterpillar pick tags before parts are binned. Participate in Safety Meetings. Must be able to communicate and inter act with customers in a pleasant manner. May be required to pick up and/or deliver parts in a company vehicle.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY
Must be able to read, write and understand English. Must possess or have the ability to obtain a valid driver’s license.
EDUCATION OR FORMAL TRAINING
Minimum - High School Graduate or equivalent.
Experience with Caterpillar preferred. Good working knowledge of parts distribution.
MATERIAL AND EQUIPMENT DIRECTLY USED
Forklift, Hydraulic Hose Press, Computer, Saw, Hand Truck, Pallet Jack, Lawn Mower, misc. hand tools, and company vehicle on occasion.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES
In a standard 8 hour shift a worker must:
1. Walk and/or stand 6-8 hours.
2 50 lb. weight lifting restriction.
3. Use hands for repetitive simple grasping, pushing & pulling, and fine manipulation.
4. Use feet frequently in a repetitive movement.
5. Frequently bend, squat and climb.
