Our Parks and Destinations group specializes in serving consumers; recreational and entertainment needs in national and state parks, zoos, aquariums, science centers, museums and other day-use cultural attractions.

The Warehouse General Utility Worker ensures the warehouse is kept clean and well maintained. General Utility Workers are flexible; willing to help out wherever needed, comfortable working outside in extreme heat conditions and committed to delivering the highest levels of customer service. General Utility Workers also provide a concierge service to guests as they are highly knowledgeable on Lake Powell Resorts and Marinas and the surrounding area.
General Utility Workers must be able to work physically hard, able to deal with constant bending and lifting
General Utility Workers must ensure cleanliness and pleasant atmosphere of the warehouse by removing trash and debris cleaning all public areas. This includes but is not limited to cleaning: the parking lot, warehouse, and restrooms
Ensure floors are cleaned Help with deliveries, loading and unloading of trucks Handle recycling needs
General Utility Workers must fully utilize all safety equipment, ensuring proper lifting, bending and carrying techniques are adhered to Understand all machinery and chemicals used Be aware of MSDS sheets and books and read and use this information when necessary Identify maintenance, cleanliness and safety issues and take the correct steps to correct them
General Utility Workers should be highly knowledgeable about Lake Powell Resort and Marinas and the surrounding areas; acting as a concierge resource for all guests. This includes but is not limited to: retail, the lodge, food & beverage opening hours and services, tours and activities and surrounding area amenities and activities such as other National Parks in The Grand Circle
Must be honest, dependable and forthright, with the ability to confidently work without direct supervision
Maintain a positive attitude always be willing to lend a helping hand wherever needed
Go the extra mile and follow through to ensure guest satisfaction Maintain positive attitude in high stress situations

Status and Scope:
General Utility Workers report to The Warehouse Manager
General Utility Workers need to be comfortable working outdoors as they may encounter desert animals, which includes but is not limited to: mice, jack rabbits, snakes, bats etc
General Utility Workers must be comfortable working long days in extreme heat
General Utility Workers must be comfortable being on their feet all day
Qualifications: Previous customer service and or Utility Worker experience preferred Strong English communication skills are required
Must be over 18 years of age

Travel Requirements: Little or no travel required (less than 10%)
