Position Summary :|
This position is responsible for:
Receipt and evaluation of Victor products for warranty or credit.
Repair or enter computer data for returned material.
Testing Welding units and Plasma cutting units to ensure proper operation
Troubleshooting issues on new and returned electronic and mechanical products
JDE Knowledge a Plus
High School degree required. Associates degree in Electronics preferred
Three years of experience with Victor products desirable
Ability to read and understand Victor drawings is required
Ability to read and understand schematics
Ability to troubleshoot electronics systems and PCBAs
Able to apply required forces in the unpackaging, repairing and moving of products for evaluation
Good communication and computer skills
Expertise with assembly and repair of Victor product lines
Ability to create Quality Inspection Plans and run small projects
Ability to inspect product to the print.
Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
Know the important functional and safety related characteristics of the product
Inspect products and components to product prints
Test and evaluate units to root cause of failure
Repairs products and components to print specifications
Follow ISO 9001 and regulatory requirements, Work Instructions and Standard Operating Procedures as trained
Review all complaints, investigate and document findings to maintain files as required by quality systems regulations
Identify conforming and nonconforming materials and process in accord with Work Instructions and Standard Operating Procedures
