Water Features II

Cleans and Maintains pool(s) water features and all related working parts of the system, including but not limited to pump(s)/motor(s), filters and heater(s). Feed Marine life as necessary to maintain their peak health.

Honua Kai is the first whole ownership condominium and townhome beachfront resort to come to Ka’anapali Beach, Maui in over 25 years. This spectacular family resort will operate at the level of a luxurious hotel, offering a variety of amenities including three distinct pool experiences.

Honua Kai offers a variety of whole-ownership real estate opportunities. Two beachfront condominium towers feature studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom suites showcasing magnificent ocean and mountain views. Tucked amid lush tropical gardens, the Na Hale Luana townhomes offer a relaxing, luxurious alternative for families seeking a tropical home-away-from-home.

PRIMARY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
  • Cleaning and maintaining the pool(s) and water features on property.
  • Do necessary repairs of the above listed items and related equipment as necessary.
  • Maintain/repair filters, pumps and heater system for the pool(s) and water features.
  • Keep daily logs of temp., ph and chemical readings for the pool. Logged information needs to be turned into the Chief or Assistant Chief Engineer monthly for electronic transfer to an excel spreadsheet.
  • Arrange outdoor furniture every morning as directed by the Water Feature I supervisor.
  • Any other projects as directed by the Chief or Assistant Chief Engineer and/or Water Feature I
  • Outdoor Maintenance as directed by the Chief and/or Assistant Chief Engineer and/or Water Features I.
  • Other duties as assigned.


  • SCOPE OF BUDGET RESPONSIBILITY:
    • Budget responsibility is not in scope for this position.

    EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Education:
    • High School Diploma or Equivalent

    Experience:
    • Certification and training in pool water chemistry

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS: Knowledge:
    • Knowledge of pool pump, motors and water heater maintenance and repair
    • Excel Spreadsheets, data entry

    Skills/Abilities :
    • Able to communicate proficiently in the English language (written & oral)
    • Computer literate, keyboarding
