— Gather materials as needed for use in department
— Reactionary to any downfall for the work center
— Direct Material Handler as needed, including informing the material handler of Finished Good removal.
— Evaluate the Queue for the next job inline for the work center.
o Knowing the exact job is preferred.
o Knowing what is most likely is mandatory.
— Check specifications of materials gathered against information contained in work orders
— Review work orders to determine material requirements
— Examine documents, materials, and products in order to assess completeness, accuracy and conformance to standards and specifications
— Update the staging board on next job status. The time remaining on the current jobs should dictate priority.
— Records number of units handled and moved
— Attaches identifying tags or marks information on containers
— Communicate with the parts room as needed
— Communicate with the Scheduling team member as needed
— Communicate with the tool crib as needed
— May operate heavy equipment such as forklifts
— Remain in constant contact with the supervisor on the status of the next job for each work center.
— Is a productive member of his/her workgroup and adheres to all Rosenboom. policies, including safety requirements/procedures, in order to ensure a safe working environment for all Rosenboom employees
— Employee is expected to work full shifts with the possibility of some extra daily and/or Saturday hours
— Commitment to high standards of workmanship and continuous quality improvement is an expectation of all Rosenboom positions
— Habits of good attendance and punctuality are an expectation and essential function of all Rosenboom positions
