We are currently seeking a Water Transfer Crew Member to join our team. Under the supervision of the manifold supervisor, the water transfer crew member will maintain the workability and efficiency of the job from general housekeeping to light maintenance and repairs. They will also be involved in designated projects on location and in the yard. This position has the potential for extensive overtime outdoors and possibly in harsh climates.

Essential duties and responsibilities
Adhere to company policies and work requirements.
Responsible for upkeep and maintenance of the yard in a neat and orderly condition including tracking inventory.
Keep written records and reports as required by management.
Assist with general maintenance of fleet, including servicing pumps, repairing pipe and fittings, and changing out or removing sprinklers and risers using specified machinery and tools including welding.
Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments and material and equipment needs.
Operate various hand tools, power tools and other equipment to complete tasks.
Strap, brace, and or pad materials on vehicles to prevent shifting or damage in transit.
Select pipe sizes and types and related materials according to specifications.
Assemble and secure pipes, fittings, and related equipment, according to specifications.
Load, secure, and unload materials and equipment with appropriate tools, machinery, and other equipment according to specifications.
Operate equipment, forklifts, trailers, pickup trucks and delivery trucks as required.
Perform pre-operational checks on equipment such as inspect lines and equipment for possible leaks or damage.
Inspect, examine, and test installed systems and pipe lines, using pressure gauge, hydrostatic testing, observation, or other methods.
Using hand and power tools, modify, clean, and maintain pipe systems, units, fittings, pumps, and related machines and equipment following specifications.
Perform basic maintenance of various tools and equipment.
Troubleshoot problems that may arise.
Drive truck parts out to drivers in the area.
Must be willing to work overtime.
Promote cooperation and good communication with all branch and corporate personnel.
Dependable attendance, no unauthorized absences.
Be an active participant in the company’s safety culture and attend all required safety meetings.
Follow safe work and good housekeeping practices as outlined in the safe operating standards handbook.
This position requires various types and levels of job related training with compliance to company safe operating procedures and other specialized training as required.
Complete and turn in paperwork such as fuel tickets, job safety analyses (jsa’s), work orders, etc.
Perform all other duties as required/assigned by supervisor.
Minimum requirements
Must have a clean MVR (Motor Vehicle Record) and a valid driver’s license.
Must be 21 years of age.
Ability to lift 0-125lbs from a variety of levels up to 6 feet vertically.
A minimum of 1-2 years related experience in water transfer, pump & pipe installation, and/or oil and gas industry is preferred.
Experience working outside in the elements and the ability to work overtime and nights if needed.
Ability to work and communicate effectively with all levels of co-workers and customers.
If Designated as a Driver - Must maintain a clean MVR and is required to be on the approved driver's list based on our company insurance carrier standards.
High school diploma or equivalent is required.
