Wealth Advisor helps affluent clients make wise choices about their money and wealth. Through our consultative process, the advisor seeks to understand client concerns and to provide personalized investment management and advanced wealth planning strategies to address those concerns. The advisor’s primary goal is to manage client assets to help achieve their financial goals. The advisor has responsibility for both sourcing and closing new investment business from qualified referrals and contacts.
Required Experience, Education and Licenses
Ten years’ experience in investment management or financial planning with proven record of face-to-face client responsibility.
Strong community presence with an established network of contacts.
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
Hold a current or valid CFP® designation, CPA license or other investment professional designation or working to obtain CFP® designation or CPA/PFS license.
If a CFP® professional or CPA, must be a member in good standing with CFP® or CPA boards, associations and societies.
Specialized skills – passionate about making a difference, positive energy, confident and engaging presence, high level of commitment and self-motivation, strong communication and listening, effective follow-up and closing, big picture yet attention to detail
Technology skills – proficiency with Excel, Word and other financial planning software
Develops "high-trust" relationship with Firm Partners and external contacts for qualified referrals
Develops "high-trust" relationship with prospective clients with portfolios over $1 million
Presents proposals to prospective clients with goal of converting them as clients
Implements and maintains Investment Plan and Policy Statement for client relationships
Collaborates with client advisory team to determine and assist implementation of advanced wealth planning strategies
Builds meaningful client relationships through ongoing contact and exceptional service
Provides thought leadership to contacts
Meets annual revenue and assets under management goals
Willing to travel out-of-town to meet with clients and prospective clients
