Saybrus Partners is looking for a dynamic individual for the role of Wealth
Management Consultant (WMC) in its Southern Region, to manage relationships and
reach sales goals. The WMC plays a critical role in the success of Saybrus
distribution strategy. Working with the Regional Managing Director (RMD), the
WMC is responsible for achieving the territorys annual sales goals, which
include, but are not limited to, overall production, penetration rates and
diversity of products sold. This is achieved by providing dedicated
assisted-sales support in retail distribution channels.
Duties and Responsibilities:A Wealth Management Consultants role includes:
Establishing and maintaining strategic national, regional and local
relationships within the territory.
Fact-finding and prospecting with assigned advisors to maximize sales results.
Training advisors on products and features, sales and marketing ideas as well
as new business and underwriting processes.
Providing illustration, case and product design support with assigned
advisors.
Assisting advisors at the point of sale during client meetings, if
appropriate.
Developing and implementing an activity plan that maximizes field contacts
within an assigned territory and/or assigned relationships.
Assisting in the preparation of the regions sales and marketing plan.
Appropriately represent life/annuity manufacturers with assigned accounts.
Promoting assigned accounts designated life and/or annuity product
portfolio(s) via presentations to groups of advisors and/or with local and
regional entities.
Knowledge and Experience
We are looking for a goal-oriented, self-starter who possesses excellent
communication and presentation skills. The ideal candidate possesses a
Bachelors degree as well as additional advanced degrees and/or designations
(e.g. JD, MBA, CLU, ChFC). An extensive knowledge of life insurance and annuity
products and their applications in estate, retirement and business planning as
well as a history of success in financial services sales (wholesale or retail)
is key. A Series 6 or 7, Series 63 and appropriate life insurance licenses are
required.
Special Working Conditions
The WMC position may require extensive travel and candidates must be comfortable
working from a home office.
