Position Summary:

The Web Analyst is a digital analytics expert with at least 2 years of hands-on experience in creating, implementing, reporting, analyzing, and optimizing via insights from digital analytics data and campaigns. An analytical thinker with a quantitative orientation, the Web Analyst should be specifically knowledgeable in Google Analytics, PPC and demonstrated proficiency in executing for the benefit of MedThink clients. The Web Analyst should be a leader in collaborating with internal and external team members to communicate the value of digital analytics.

Position Requirements:
  • 2+ years experience in advanced Web analytics methodologies
  • 3+ years digital marketing experience
  • Demonstrated and extensive use of SEM, SEO, and PPC
  • Expert level experience with Excel (pivot tables, complex formulas)
  • Track record of working across internal (cross-functional) and external teams
  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, Mathematics/Statistics and/or Economics.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Analytical thinker, quantitative orientation, and excellent problem solver.
  • Strong Expertise in using/implementing Google Analytics (GA Certified), PPC (Google/Bing), web analytics tools.
  • Proficiency in creating in-depth and insightful analytics reports using Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong mathematical/statistical/research knowledge
  • Experience implementing, measuring and optimizing the success of PPC campaigns
  • Passionate about innovation and technology
  • Strong project management and time management skills
  • Exceptional attention to details and producing quality work
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Ability to convert complex data into easy-to-understand data insights and action plans for all marketing audiences
  • Adaptability to changing situations and patience during problem-solving process
  • Builds relationships across cross-functional teams: must enjoy collaborating with online marketers, copywriters, programmers and clients
  • Experience with JavaScript (and jQuery), HTML, CSS, and SQL and plus.
Position Responsibilities:

Demonstrates behavior expected of a professional member of the organization, including but not limited to:
  • Recommend strategic digital analytics approaches to measuring/tracking digital initiatives
  • Create digital analytics implementation plans and collaborate with web development/technology teams to execute
  • Manage specific portfolio of PPC campaigns, optimization, analytics
  • Design and implement Multivariate and A/B testing and post-test analysis
  • Consistently manage analytics data collection process and quickly troubleshoots issues as they arise
  • Create analytics reports using analytical tools, Excel, and/or PowerPoint
  • Deliver regular reports that are timely, concise, insightful and meaningful in achieving business goals and objectives
  • Make recommendations for optimizations to improve website/digital initiative performance
  • Create competitive reports as needed
  • Help foster an agency culture focused on discovering business insights and recommendations
  • Stay up-to-date on new analytics/industry trends, tools, and analytics applications and evaluate opportunities for MedThink and clients
  • Assists in promoting and educating agency and clients as to the value of analytics
  • Create online surveys in collaboration with account teams as needed and report findings
