The opportunity is within the eBusiness Marketing team of BD Biosciences.
The position is responsible for building and maintaining a business dash board of campaign and web analytics for outbound marketing programs, search engine marketing and the BDB Website. In addition, responsibilities will include tracking, measuring, reporting, and analysis of traffic, programs, and campaigns and for recommending changes based on analysis.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain the marketing campaign dash board; define metric needs, monitor and refine the dash board based on changing, evolving business needs.
Evaluate existing capabilities and establish new systems and processes for campaign measurement.
Communicate business needs to the development teams for service metrics and data acquisition.
Audit content published for search engine optimization compliance.
Create detailed search engine optimization recommendations for assigned sites.
Track and report search engine referrals, keyword rankings and other SEO traffic metrics for assigned sites to stakeholders.
Work with and educate design, editorial, production and engineering groups on implementation of SEO best practices.
Implement strategies for attaining high rankings for relevant, high-volume search terms.
Keep up to date with competitive trends and best practices in web analytics.
Requirements
A minimum of a bachelor's degree
A minimum of 2 years of experience in data and web analytics
A minimum of 2 years experience with website content management systems.
Assets:
SDL Tridion experience preferred.
Ability to understand search engine ranking algorithms and how search engine spiders work and proficient with SEO tools
A quantitative approach to traffic measurement and experience with collecting and interpreting site visitor statistics
Selected candidate will be detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills as well as sound business judgment.
Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills
Self-starter approach to work, with an eagerness to consistently meet and exceed objectives and take on more responsibility.
Ability to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines in an uncertain and changing environment
