DESCRIPTION

Employment Dates: 9/19/2012-2/25/2013

Considerations: This position will be required to work extended days and weekends as needed leading up to the annual Film Festival. In addition, this position may be required to be lodged in Park City, UT for the 10 days of the Film Festival.

Position Summary: The Web Coordinator is primarily charged with supporting the Creative Services and Marketing team with the Institute's Online presence.

DUTIES

  • Manage online request system, fielding requests from internal departments to update web properties. Prepare, coordinate, and publish online content as requested in a timely fashion.
  • Assist in the production, scheduling and sending of all e-mail blasts.
  • Test and assure quality of each email.
  • Administer and maintain all e-mail subscription forms and lists.
  • Prepare, coordinate, and publish online content as directed including the Online Film Guide data.
  • Prepare all images for the online film guide and mobile app.
  • Archive production materials.
  • Import, export and tag content.
  • Image prep and creation.
Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Employee has legal authorization to work in the United States.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Minimum 2 years experience with website design and programming, including HTML and CSS.
  • Experience using Content Management applications such as Expression Engine, Moveable Type or Wordpress.
  • OS independence (experience with Linux, windows, and Mac environments) a plus.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
  • Working knowledge of the following: HTML standards and some Javascript knowledge, Quality Assurance of HTML content on all major browsers and platforms.
  • Proficiency using web development tools such as Dreamweaver, Photoshop, and Notepad / Textedit.
  • Proficiency with Creative Suite (CS4 or higher).
  • Ability to work within a team environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills (written and verbal).
