Job Summary

USF Academic and Enrollment Services is seeking a talented Web Coordinator to join our Web Services department. The primary responsibility will be to support the prospect management system. This position works closely with internal clients to design and develop web pages, build email communication plans, develop prospective student lists, and generate detailed reports. This is a 6-month temporary, full-time position that reports to the Director of Web Services in Academic and Enrollment Services.

Job Responsibilities

  • Design and build graphic e-communications
  • Build and maintain database filters for prospective student communications
  • Help identify and maintain program updates and text changes for the prospect management system throughout the year
  • Provide daily support, maintenance and development of the USF website
  • Code web pages utilizing CSS, HTML and programming/scripting languages including JavaScript and JQuery
  • Support a growing user base for various online systems and tools (CMS, Prospect Relations Management, Intranet apps, etc.) by providing documentation, training, and technical support
  • Work daily in content management, prospect relations management, mass mail management, online chat, and web reporting systems
  • Assist with the management of web analytics and help generate scheduled and ad hoc reports
  • Participate in troubleshooting and quality assurance testing for various web sites, applications and tools
  • Monitor the Web Services email queue and assist with other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in area related to computer science or information systems
  • 2-3 year’s experience in developing web sites
  • Proven experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Solid knowledge of Adobe Dreamweaver, Photoshop and Fireworks
  • Solid knowledge of graphic and user interface design
  • Experience and proven track record developing web sites utilizing a web content management system
  • Knowledge of web site development best practices including SEO techniques and complying with Section 508 accessibility guidelines
  • Experience working with customer relationship management system to develop electronic communications, portal management, dynamic media creation (visual and audio content and presentations), and other content-rich projects
  • Familiarity working with Web Content Management systems preferred
