Summary DescriptionAs a member of the HR Communications team, the Web Visual Designer creates assets for Apple’s Human Resources employee and candidate websites under the direction of the Senior Manager. Requiring a clear understanding of graphic design for the web, you will be involved in the development, design (“Look & Feel”) and production of a wide range of visual design projects. Proven Skills and Abilities· Demonstrated proficiency in design and production of graphics optimized for web delivery.· Ability to develop innovative designs, which are on-strategy and meet objectives.· Strong design skills with some ability to evaluate own work as it relates to Apple’s needs.· Demonstrated reliable judgment as to when work may be “off track” and when to ask senior staff for advice.· Ability to accept feedback and redirect own work with limited supervision.· Ability to articulate ideas in a manner that is clearly understood by senior management staff.· Excellent skills with design software used by the department, including, but not limited to, Illustrator and Photoshop.· Good organization skills to file work in a manner that is accessed and modified by others. Scope of Duties and Responsibilities include· Accountable for the development, implementation and production of designs and design elements as instructed.· Executes design work and production assets that meet defined quality standards in a timely manner.· Works as a member of a team, executing assigned tasks.· Participates in presentations or meetings as appropriate.
