An exciting opportunity to work in the WebMD Professional Promotions Creative group — we have an opening for a mid-level Web Designer. The Web Designer works directly with the Lead Designers in the design, production and editing of pharmaceutical marketing campaigns including infosites, interactive learning programs, email and alerts and graphical banner ads.

What You Will Be Doing at WebMD

You will be directly tasked with creating layouts for our template-based email and brand alert campaigns. You will attend kick-off meetings and represent Creative for these tactics. In addition, you will prep images for our Web Services and Newsletter teams, build out full sets of graphical ads and facilitate edits across all our digital products.

Qualifications:
What You Need For This Position (minimum qualifications)
  • 3-5 years of professional design experience
  • Solid experience following design templates
  • Comfort working on designs solo
  • Strong sense of design including layout and spacing issues
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and FTP software
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced deadline oriented environment.
  • Strong grasp of web user experience, including mobile platforms
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • High attention to detail

... and if you have the following, even better! (preferred qualifications)
  • BA or BFA
  • 1+ year pharma or pharma marketing experience
  • Experience in a production design role
