Web Developers must have strong troubleshooting, testing and problem solving experience. They are responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining websites that confirm to user requirements and program goals.

Required Qualifications

A minimum of two years of experience with website and software design and development

A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Web Developer in the following technologies: PHP, JavaScript, WordPress, Vulnerability Assessment, ModSecurity, Apache Service Configuration, and MySQL

Ability to work in a fast-paced, technically challenging work environment

U.S. Citizenship (only) and ability to get a security clearance

Bachelor's Degree

Required Experience in and ability to:
Design, develop, implement, and maintain web sites and applications for multiple internet and intranet sites

Implement and document user requirements incorporating usability best practices

Document and test all work products and changes before deployment to production

Scan developed code for known security vulnerabilities and resolve them to produce error-free and secure code

Monitor web usage statistics and produce / update analytics reports

Perform website / application updates, modifications, and diagnostics

Operate, maintain, and administer web development, presentation and hosting tools, products, and databases to include media, content management, trouble ticket tracking, and version control systems

Collect information and prepare documents required in the Certification and Accreditation of its systems

Additional Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
Current Public Trust level clearance with the Department of Justice

Experience with PHP: able to write code using Object Oriented Programming practices and to perform diagnostics, leveraging multi-dimensional arrays

Experience with JavaScript: able to create new JavaScript core code, to debug and/or extend existing code, JQuery experience a plus

Experience with WordPress: user perspective familiarity, administration experience (using WordPress UI), custom theme and plugin development to meet customer requirements, and PHP programming (OOP)

Experience with Vulnerability Assessment: knowledge of website attack techniques and defensive web application development

Experience with ModSecurity: familiarity with CRS, writing custom rules and ModSecurity debugging practices

Experience with Apache Service Configuration: knowledgeable of Virtualhost directives, reverse proxy directives, and Mod Rewrite directives

Experience with MySQL: able to design and implement databases, knowledgeable of SQL syntax and best practices, DDL Creation, and Database diagramming and documentation
